I am a fully qualified supervisor with an OCN accredited certificate in supervision. As a humanistic and integrative therapist and supervisor, I work to support supervisees from various fields and with varying orientations and interests. I offer insights from a wide breadth of experience relating to adult mental health, having worked with groups and individuals. I emphasise the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship, with additional areas of interest including Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Polyvagal Theory. I have a particular interest in supporting therapists and counsellors to integrate a polyvagal approach into their practice.
I believe that good supervision happens when you feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I prioritise the development of a strong, supportive and collaborative relationship, that emphasises non-judgmental openness and exploration, as a means of facilitating ongoing personal and professional development. Sessions accommodate the unique developmental needs and preferences of each supervisee.
I am happy to answer any questions that you might have, prior to committing to a regular supervision agreement.
I work face to face from my practice room on the edge of the New Forest. Supervision is offered to supervisees, face to face under Covid-19 secure conditions, whilst also adhering to area tier restrictions which may be subject to change. Supervision is also offered via ZOOM/Skype or by telephone if preferred.
